Removal and installation
Removal
1. Open the rear door fully.
2. Remove the rear door interior trim. See Interior Equipment section above.
3. Disconnect the intermediate electrical wire connector (B) from the rear door.
4. Loosen the rear door trim retaining nuts (A) and disengage the rear door trim retaining clips.

5. Pull the rubber grommet of the electrical wiring outward from the rear door and remove it.
6. Pull the rear door trim and remove it.
7. After removing the rear door trim, remove the following components:
- number plate light, see chapter "Driver controlled instruments";
- rear door request switch, see section above "Doors and locks";
- rear door opener switch; see above section "Doors and locks";
- intermediate wiring of the rear door.
Installation
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
