Door trim panel — removal and installation (Nissan Murano Z50)

Front door trim panel mounting elements

Removal

• Remove the cap next to the inside door handle and unscrew the screws.
• Remove the interior door handle cover by removing 3 screws on the front door or two screws on the rear door.
• Loosen the door handle mounting screw
• Remove the cap on the inside door handle and unscrew the screw. Remove the power window switch and disconnect the wiring harness plug from the switch.
• Remove the screws securing the side portion of the power window control switch.
• Insert a screwdriver wrapped in a cloth between the trim panel (2) and the clips (3) (arrow) and remove the trim panel.

1 — body panel.

• Pull the door trim panel up and remove the door courtesy light plug and other electrical plugs.
• Remove the door lock release button cable (1) and the inner door handle cable (2) from the back of the inner handle.

• Loosen the screws securing the interior door handle (arrows) and remove the handle from the door trim panel.

Installation

• When installing the door trim panel, make sure all the clips are aligned with the mounting holes on the body panel, and then press the clips into the holes.
