Removal
1. Remove the mudguard. See chapter "Interior and exterior body equipment".
2. Unscrew the oil filter using a wrench (special tool KV10115801) (A).

Attention:
- The oil filter is equipped with a bypass valve. Use a genuine NISSAN oil filter or equivalent.
- Avoid burning yourself on hot engine and engine oil.
- Before unscrewing, take a napkin and collect any spilled oil.
- Do not allow engine oil to come into contact with the drive belt.
- Completely wipe off any oil that has spilled on the engine and vehicle.
Installation
1. Remove foreign particles from the seating surface under the oil filter.
2. Apply fresh engine oil around the circumference of the new oil filter seal.

3. Screw the oil filter in by hand until it touches the seating surface, then tighten it an additional 2/3 of a turn. Or tighten it to the specified torque.

Oil filter:
: 17.6 N·m (1.8 kg·m).
Post-installation check
1. Check the oil level. See chapter "Lubrication system and engine cooling system".

2. Start the engine and check for engine oil leaks.
3. Turn off the engine and wait 10 minutes.
4. Check the oil level and top it up. See chapter "Lubrication system and engine cooling system".
