The Nissan Murano is a compact SUV with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
The car is equipped with a V6 petrol engine: 6-cylinder, V-shaped, with a working volume of 3.5 liters and two overhead camshafts.
The chassis layout of this car is traditional, with the engine mounted in the front and its power (torque) transmitted via a variator to the front suspension drive shafts.
On 4WD models (all-wheel drive) the engine torque is also transmitted to the rear axle via the propeller shaft through the transfer case.
The braking system consists of disc brakes on all wheels. The hydraulic brake system is dual-circuit, the front circuit is separated from the rear. A brake booster and anti-lock braking system (ABS) are installed as standard.
