Removal
- Remove the drive shaft.
- Using a flat-blade screwdriver, remove the oil seal.
Caution: Be careful not to damage the adapter body.
Installation
- Apply multi-purpose grease to the lip of the new oil seal. Using the drawing as a guide, install the seal using the mandrel (Pr) so that it is flush with the surface of the housing.

- When installing, do not distort the oil seal, be careful not to damage it.
- Install the drive shaft.
- Check the oil level.
