Central locking — general description (Nissan Bluebird T12)

1. The system includes the following components.

2. Voltage from the battery is fed through the brown fuse link to the cylindrical reverse current relay, which is located behind the panel, between the steering column and the fuse panel.

3. The control circuit of the door lock timer, which is installed behind the right group of the time control unit.

4. The main lock switch (No. 1) is located in the switch group installed in the driver's door armrest.

5. The lock switch (No. 2) is located in the corner of the rear base of the driver's door and is secured with two bolts. To remove it, remove the door trim. Unscrew the bolt from the switch and release the bracket to disconnect the latch rod. Reinstallation is the reverse of removal.

6. The lock switch (No. 3) is installed on the driver's door lock bushing. This switch was not installed on cars manufactured after February (T12) or (T72) 1988.
