2. Pull off the rubber dust cap, remove the pusher. Release the piston with the spring. Remove the seal from the piston.
3. Clean all components thoroughly using alcohol or clean hydraulic fluid.
4. Check all components, replacing any that show signs of wear, damage or corrosion. If there are defects on the piston or the inside surface of the cylinder, the cylinder assembly must be replaced.
5. Before assembly, wet the piston, spring and new piston seal with clean hydraulic fluid, and also lubricate the inside surface of the cylinder with fluid.
6. Assembly is carried out in reverse order.
7. Install the slave cylinder on the vehicle.
