The rear window wiper and washer operate only when the ignition is on.
Rear window wiper control
- If the control lever is set to position (1), the cleaner will switch to intermittent operation mode.

- Position (2) of the rear window wiper lever corresponds to a low wiper stroke frequency.
- If snow or ice interferes with the rear window wiper operation, the wiper may stop operating to protect the motor from burning out. If this happens, turn the switch to the OFF position and remove snow or ice from the wiper blades and the adjacent glass surface. Wiper operation can be resumed after about 1 minute by turning the switch to the ON position.
Rear Window Washer Control
- To turn on the rear window washer, press the lever away from you (3) and hold it until the desired amount of liquid is supplied to the glass. The wiper will then automatically make several strokes with the brushes.
