Removal and installation the brush and working element
The procedures are similar to those described for windshield wipers (see accompanying illustration).
Removal and installation the windshield wiper arm
Removal
1. Remove the spare wheel from the tailgate.
2. Remove the protective cover and loosen the nut securing the lever to the axle.
3. Carefully pry the lever off the axle (see accompanying illustration).
Installation
Installation is carried out in reverse order.
1. Place the lever on the axle and align the brush, placing it 55÷65 mm above the glass sealing strip. The motor should first be set to the parking position.
2. Tighten the lever mounting nut securely on the axle.
Removal and installation the windshield wiper motor
Removal
1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
2. Remove the wiper arm.
3. Remove the rear door interior trim panel.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector on the motor.
5. Remove the mounting bolts (see accompanying illustration) and remove the engine from the car.

Installation
Installation is carried out in reverse order.
1. Check the quality of the electrical connector contacts and ensure that they are securely fastened.
2. Tighten the motor mounting bolts securely.
3. Adjust the position of the brush on the glass.
