- (1) When towing a van trailer or using a roof rack or driving off-road or on muddy roads, check the CVT fluid with CONSULT-III every 90,000 km, then replace with NS-2 type CVT fluid if necessary. If CONSULT II is not available, replace (and don't just check) CVT fluid type NS-2 every 90,000 km. If you use a transmission fluid other than the Genuine Nsssan CVT Fluid NS-2, you can damage the variator (CVT), and the warranty does not cover the damage.
