• (1) When towing a trailer, van, or using a roof rack, or driving on rough terrain or muddy roads, check the CVT fluid with the CONSULT-III tester every 90,000 km, then replace the NS-2 type CVT fluid if necessary. If the CONSULT-III tester is not available, replace (and don't just check) CVT fluid type NS-2 every 90,000 km of run If you use a transmission fluid other than the Genuine Nissan CVT Fluid NS-2, you can damage the variator (CVT), and the warranty will not cover the damage.
