Ratio of components in the engine coolant mixture (Nissan X-Trail T31)

The engine cooling system is filled at the factory with high-quality all-season engine coolant with a long service life. This solution contains anti-corrosion agents and antifreeze. Therefore, additional additives for the cooling system are not required. When adding or replacing coolant, use only genuine NISSAN engine coolant or equivalent in quality. Genuine liquid is a ready-to-use coolant (with a 50% component ratio).

Using other types of engine coolant may cause damage to the cooling system.

When checking the engine coolant mixture ratio with a hydrometer, use the table below to make adjustments to the hydrometer reading (specific gravity) depending on the coolant temperature.

Caution: Do not remove the radiator cap when the engine is hot. High-pressure fluid may spray out of the radiator and cause serious burns. Wait until the engine and radiator have cooled.
