Replacing lamps (Nissan Murano Z50)

Caution: Do not touch the glass bulb of the lamp with your fingers; handle it only through a clean cloth or paper. The oil from your fingers burns onto the glass and reduces the light output.

High/low beam lamp

The headlight bulbs are removed from the engine compartment. After replacing a headlight bulb, it is necessary to check the adjustment of the corresponding headlight. Before replacing the lamp, check that the light is turned off.

Turn off the ignition.
Remove the front fender guard.
Loosen the protective cover on the back of the headlight by turning it counterclockwise and remove it.
Remove the three-pin plug from the lamp using a rocking motion.
After releasing the spring clip of the lamp, pull out the lamp.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Insert a new lamp.

Place a wire staple.
Insert a three-pin plug.
Install the protective cover.
Front turn signal lamp
Turn off the ignition.
Remove the front fender guard.
Turn the lamp holder counterclockwise and release it.
Remove the lamp from the socket.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
After installing the lamp, check the tightness of the socket and plastic cover to prevent moisture from getting inside the flashlight.

Front side marker light bulb

Turn off the ignition.
Remove the front fender guard.
Turn the lamp holder counterclockwise and release it.
Remove the lamp from the socket.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Front fog lamp

Remove the front fender guard.
Remove the side of the front bumper where the fog light whose bulb needs to be replaced is located.
Disconnect the lamp plug.
Turn the lamp holder (arrow) counterclockwise and release it.

Turn the lamp holder (arrow) counterclockwise and release it.

Caution: Do not leave the fog light reflector open for a long time, as it may be exposed to dust, moisture, various vapors, etc. A dirty reflector reduces the effectiveness of the fog lights. When replacing a lamp, install only a new lamp.

Parking lamp (overall) lighting

Turn off the ignition.
Remove the air cleaner housing (when replacing the left lamp).
Remove the Intelligent Electrical Distribution Module (IPDM E/R) (when replacing the right headlight bulb).
Turn the lamp holder counterclockwise and release it.
Remove the lamp from the socket.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Doorway lighting lamp

Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
Wrap the tip of the screwdriver in a cloth to avoid damaging the lamp diffuser or door trim panel and insert the screwdriver into the gap between the diffuser (1) and the door trim panel.
Remove the diffuser.
Remove the lamp (2).

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. When installing the diffuser, make sure that the latches (3) click into place.

Rear combination light bulbs

1 - lamp; 2 — side marker light bulb socket; 3 — direction indicator lamp socket; 4 — socket of the brake signal and parking light bulb.

The rear combination light includes: a brake signal and parking light lamp, a side marker light lamp and a direction indicator lamp. Replacing all lamps is done in the same way.
