Attention! The bulbs of the lamps remain hot for about 20 minutes after switching off the lighting fixtures. Make sure the components are completely cool before starting work.
Front position/direction lights
1. Jack up the car and put it on stands.
2. Access to the assemblies of direction indicators and parking lights opens from below.
3. The side light cartridge is removed by pulling it out of its seat. The turn signal cartridge must also be turned. To remove the lamp from the socket, it must be pressed and turned counterclockwise.
Side marker lights
1. Open the hood, remove the screw located near the headlight housing, then shake the side marker light assembly (on models of early years of production - turn signal repeater). Pull the assembly straight out and release it from the body panel.
2. Remove the bulb from the socket and replace it with a new one.
Tail lights and brake lights
Lamps located in the body part of the combined lamp
1. Open the luggage compartment lid. Remove the viewing window cover in the interior trim panel to access the rear combination lamp assembly. The outdoor lamp socket is equipped with a rubber plug. Remove the plastic cover to gain access to the parking light bulb.
2. To remove the bulb from the socket, press it down and turn it counterclockwise.
Lamps located in the part of the lamp assembly placed on the luggage compartment lid
1. Open the trunk lid and remove the two screws securing the lamp holder plate on the back of the light assembly.
2. To remove the bulb from the socket, press it down and turn it counterclockwise.
License plate light
1. Turn out fixing screws and remove a lens from assembly of a lantern of illumination of license plate. Pull the socket out of the assembly to gain access to the lamp.
2. To remove the lamp, pull it straight back.
Upper level stop lights
Press the cover of the lamp assembly to the right, pull it with your son-in-law and remove it. The lamp simply pulls out of the socket.
Instrument lighting
Remove instrument cluster (see Section Removal and installation of a combination of devices). The lamps are removed from the back of the instrument cluster printed circuit board.
Indoor lights (saloon, luggage compartment)
1. To remove the shades of the navigational lamps / saloon lamp, it should be pry off with a small screwdriver.
2. To remove the navigation lamps, they should be turned in the socket. The double-ended ceiling lamp is simply pulled out of the spring-loaded contact terminals of its socket. Avoid touching the bulbs with bare hands, as the formation of grease stains can significantly reduce the life of the lamp.
