Warning! Halogen bulbs are filled with pressurized gas and may explode if shaken sharply. Try to handle such bulbs only by the base and use protective glasses. Remember that touching the bulb with bare fingers leaves greasy stains on the glass, which leads to premature failure of the bulb due to overheating. Before installation, wipe the bulb with alcohol.
1. Open the hood. Locate the bulb assembly on the back of the headlight housing. When replacing the right headlight bulb, remove the plastic shield.
2. Disconnect the electrical wiring and remove the retaining ring.
3. Remove the lamp assembly with the socket from the headlight housing.
4. Trying not to touch the bulb, release the bulb from the socket and install a replacement one in its place. Insert the assembly into the headlight housing and secure it with a retaining ring.
5. Connect the electrical wiring. Check the proper functioning of the headlights. Close the hood.
