Warning! The models of vehicles covered in this manual are equipped with a supplemental restraint system (SRS). Before performing any work near the air bag unit, steering column or instrument panel, turn off the SRS to avoid injury from accidental deployment (see section Front seat electric drive - general information and checking the correct functioning). The SRS circuit wiring is easily identified by the yellow color of the insulation.
1. Turn off SRS (see section Airbags - General Information).
2. Remove the instrument panel trim panel (see Chapter Body).
3. Remove the mounting screws and remove the instrument cluster from its housing.
4. Disconnect the electrical wiring and remove the instrument cluster.
