2. The fuel filter is mounted in the right front corner of the engine compartment.
3. Loosen the clamps and slide them off the fittings.
4. Carefully disconnect the hoses.
5. Remove the filter from the bracket and install a new filter, attach the hoses and tighten the clamps. Start the engine and check for leaks.
Electric pump
6. The filter is mounted on the right side of the frame, next to the pump. Access to the filter is difficult. Drain and tank gasoline, loosen the clamps and move them from the fitting (photo).
7. Carefully disconnect the hoses.
8. Remove the filter from the bracket, paying attention to its orientation in the direction of the arrow (arrow indicates flow direction). Install a new filter, attach the hoses and tighten the clamps. Start the engine and check for leaks.

9. Decompress the fuel system (Ch. 4).
10. Loosen the clamps and slide them off the fittings (photo).
11. Carefully disconnect the hoses.
12. Loosen the clamp and remove the filter.
13. Remove the filter, paying attention to its orientation in the direction of the arrow (arrow indicates flow direction). Install a new filter, attach the hoses and tighten the clamps. Start the engine and check for leaks.
