Replacing the filter of the tank with the absorber (Nissan Terrano 1)

1. The absorber tank is part of the gasoline vapor recovery system to reduce the toxicity of emissions.

2. The filter mounted on the bottom of the tank must be replaced. If you notice a smell of gasoline, immediately check the condition of the hoses.

3. Locate the tank, lift it up and release it from the spring latch.

4. Turn the tank over and push out the filter.

5. Replace the filter and put the tank back in place.
