Changing oil in manual transmission (Nissan Terrano 1)

1. Take a ride of a few kilometers.

2. Raise the front of the vehicle and support it on stands.

3. Unscrew the drain plug (photo).

4. Drain the oil into the pan, taking care to avoid getting burned.

5. Thoroughly clean the drain plug and the inspection hole, removing all metal particles from the magnetic inserts. The presence of particles indicates wear of the gearbox parts and the need for disassembly in the near future.
