Start of movement
1. Press the clutch pedal all the way down and move the gearshift lever to the position "1" or "R".
2. Slowly depress the accelerator pedal while releasing the clutch pedal and raising the parking brake lever.
Driving Precautions
To change gear, fully depress the clutch pedal and then move the gear lever. Then slowly release the clutch pedal.
Switching immediately from fifth gear to reverse is not possible. First you need to set the lever to the neutral position, and only after that - to reverse.
If it is difficult to move the lever to reverse or first gear, first set the lever to neutral and only then, pressing the clutch pedal, move the lever to reverse or first gear.
Attention!
Do not keep your foot on the clutch pedal while driving. This will cause the clutch to fail.
The machine must come to a complete stop before shifting into reverse.
To avoid slipping and crushing of gears, it is necessary to always press the clutch pedal to the full when shifting gears.
To reduce the risk of traffic accidents, avoid abrupt starts and accelerations.
If you need to accelerate quickly, shift to a lower gear and accelerate to maximum speed in that gear. Do not exceed the speed limit recommended for each gear. When driving on slippery roads, extra care is required when accelerating or downshifting. Hard acceleration and downshifting can cause wheel spin and loss of control on slippery roads.
Recommended shift speeds
Below are the vehicle speeds at which it is recommended to shift into a higher gear. These recommendations are given in terms of fuel economy and the best use of vehicle performance. The actual speeds at which the shift from one gear to another is the most optimal depend on road conditions, weather conditions and individual driving style.
Gear shift | km/h |
from 1 to 2 | 15 |
from 2 to 3 | 35 |
from 3 to 4 | 50 |
from 4 to 5 | 70 |
The figures shown are only the recommended speed limits for each gear. The speed of movement in the first place must satisfy all traffic rules and safety measures.
