
"LOCK" — position for normal parking (0).
The key can be removed from the lock only in this position.
To lock the steering wheel, remove the key and turn the steering wheel left or right until the lock engages (a click will be heard).
To unlock the steering wheel, insert the key and turn it lightly while turning the steering wheel slightly left and right.
CAUTION! Do not remove the key while driving. This will lock the steering wheel, which may cause loss of control and, as a result, a serious accident.
"ACC" (auxiliary devices) (2)
Setting the key to this position allows electrical power to be maintained for auxiliary devices, such as the radio, while the engine is switched off.
"ON" Working position (3).
Turning the key to this position activates the ignition system and electrical accessories.
"START" (4)
When the key is turned to this position, the starter and engine start.
NATS V2.0 System Key
(nissan anti-theft locking device) (for models with petrol engine).
When attempting to start the engine without the special NATS V2.0 series key, the Nissan anti-theft device, NATS V2.0, is activated and shuts off the engine.
If the engine does not start the first time with the NATS V2.0 series key, you should repeat the operation by turning the key to the "OFF" position, and then, after about five seconds, back to the "START" position.
