It should be remembered that towing a trailer places an additional load on the engine, power train, steering gear, brakes and other devices. While driving, towing a trailer exacerbates the effect of such unfavorable factors as crosswinds, road roughness and passing with oncoming trucks. In this case, it is necessary to change the manner and speed of driving accordingly.
Choose the right drawbar for the machine and trailer (clutch, spare chain, roof extension, etc.). For questions about the availability of towbars and more information about trailer towing, contact your Nissan dealer.
It is recommended that you contact your Nissan dealer for a special towing tool kit. If you need to tow a trailer on steep slopes or for long distances, we recommend that you consult your Nissan dealer.
Attention
- When towing a trailer, the engine coolant temperature must be monitored to prevent overheating of the engine.
- The maximum allowable load must not be exceeded (trailer weight plus cargo weight), installed for the towing device.
- For more information, contact your Nissan dealer.
- Before driving, make sure that the trailer lights are in good working order.

- Make sure that the air pressure in the tires corresponds to the set value for the maximum load indicated on the tire data sheet.
- When loading a trailer, the heaviest items should be placed above the drive axle.
The maximum permissible vertical load on the drawbar must not be exceeded.
When towing a trailer, observe the speed limit: no more than 80 km/h.
