Removal
- Remove the rear wheel speed sensor.
- Remove the rear drive shaft.
- Using a flat-blade screwdriver as shown in the figure, remove the side oil seal.
Installation
- Apply multi-purpose grease to the sealing lips of the new oil seal.
- Using a mandrel (arrow), press in a new oil seal so that its surface is flush with the surface of the housing.
- When installing the oil seal, be careful not to tilt it.
- Install the rear drive shaft.
