Side body trim. 1. Front pillar trim; 2. Front curb of the side panel of the body; 3. Upper trim of the central pillar; 4. Rear curb of the side panel of the body; 5. Rear side door opening trim; 6. Lower trim of the central pillar; 7. Front door opening trim; 8. Side trim of the engine compartment partition.
Removal and installation
Caution: When removing metal clips from trim, wrap a rag around the tip of a flat-head screwdriver.
Removal
Front pillar trim.
1. Remove the front side body panel curb.
2. Using the puller (A), disengage the fastening metal clips and latches of the front pillar trim (1).
3. After releasing the latches, pull the front pillar trim (1) upward and disengage the lower mounting lug from the instrument panel.
4. Remove the front pillar trim.
Side trim of the engine compartment partition.
1. Remove the front door opening trim.
2. Remove the front side body panel curb.
3. Unscrew the fastening nut of the side trim of the engine compartment partition.
4. Using the puller (A), disengage the fastening clip (1) of the side trim of the engine compartment bulkhead.
5. Remove the side trim of the engine compartment bulkhead (1).
Front door opening trim.
1. Pull up and disengage the latches and clips from the body, bulkhead side trim, and lower B-pillar trim.
2. Remove the front door opening inner trim (1).
Rear side door opening trim.
1. Pull up and disengage the latches and clips from the bodywork by the lower B-pillar trim and the lower luggage compartment side trim.
2. Remove the rear side door opening inner trim (1).
Lower trim of the central pillar.
1. Remove the door frame trims from the front and rear side doors.
2. Insert the puller (A) between the lower B-pillar trim (1) and the body side panel and disengage the clamps.
3. Remove the lower center pillar trim.
Upper trim of the central pillar.
1. Remove the front and rear side door opening trims.
2. Remove the lower center pillar trim.
3. Remove the front seat belt anchor bolt.
4. Using the puller (A), disengage the upper center pillar trim retaining clip (1).
5. Disengage the metal retaining clip of the upper center pillar trim (1) and remove the trim (1).
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Note: When installing the body side trim, check if the clips are positioned correctly over the holes in the body side panel, then press them in.
