Removal and installation
Removal
1. Remove the rear seat cushion and backrest. See the section below "Seats".
2. Remove the rear seat belt anchor bolt (left/right).
3. Remove the front seat belt anchor bolt (left/right).
4. Remove the lower and upper side trim of the luggage compartment (left/right). See below.
5. Remove the front pillar trim (left/right), front door opening trim (left/right), lower trim of the central pillar (left/right), upper trim of the central pillar (left/right), front curb of the side panel of the body (left/right), rear curb of the side panel of the body (left/right), rear side door opening trim (left/right). See above.
6. Disconnect the roof wiring connectors.
7. Remove the roof wiring clamps (A) (1).
8. Remove the sun visor (left/right).
- Remove the sun visor cover.
- Remove the mounting screws.
- Disconnect the connectors from the vanity mirror light shades (if any).
9. Remove the sun visor holder (1) (left/right).
Note: Insert a flat-head screwdriver (A) into the slot, turn 90° and remove.
10. Remove the front (right) and rear (left/right) handrails.
- Remove the handrail plug (1).
- Loosen the handrail mounting bolts (A).
- Remove the handrail (2).
11. Fold down the front seat backs to make it easier to remove the roofliner.
12. Remove the local lighting lamp assembly.
13. Remove the interior light assembly.
14. Pull the glasses holder (1) downwards and disengage the metal clips.
15. Remove the screws then remove the rope hooks (left/right).
16. Using a puller, remove the headliner clips from the body side at the rear of the headliner.
17. Remove the ceiling (1) through the rear door.
Attention:
- Work with a partner (one in front, one in back).
- Do not bend the ceiling when removing
- Be careful not to scratch or damage body components when removing the headliner.
18. After removing the ceiling, remove the following components:
- luggage compartment light assembly;
- ultrasonic sensor;
- microphone (on models with navigation system);
- roof wiring assembly;
- roof insulator.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Attention:
- Install the sun visor holder as a guide (left/right) and both ceiling clamps on the body side at the rear of the ceiling.
- Do not bend the ceiling during installation.

Removal and installation
Removal
1. Remove the rear seat cushion and backrest. See the section below "Seats".
2. Remove the rear seat belt anchor bolt (left/right).
3. Remove the front seat belt anchor bolt (left/right).
4. Remove the lower and upper side trim of the luggage compartment (left/right). See below.
5. Remove the front pillar trim (left/right) on the masonry of the front door opening (left/right), lower trim of the central pillar (left/right), upper trim of the central pillar (left/right), front curb of the side panel of the body (left/right), rear curb of the side panel of the body (left/right), rear side door opening trim (left/right). See above.
6. Disconnect the roof wiring connectors.
7. Remove the roof wiring clamps (A) (1).
8. Using the puller (A), remove the roof trim (1).
9. Disconnect the roof wiring connector (A).
10. Remove the sun visor (left/right).
- Remove the sun visor cover.
- Remove the mounting screws.
- Disconnect the connectors from the vanity mirror light shades (if any).
11. Remove the sun visor holder (left/right).
Note: Insert a flat-head screwdriver (A) into the slot, turn 90° and remove.
12. Remove the front (right) and rear (left/right) handrails.
- Remove the handrail plug (1).
- Loosen the handrail mounting bolts (A).
- Remove the handrail (2).
13. Fold down the front seat backs to make it easier to remove the roofliner.
14. Remove the local lighting lamp assembly.
15. Pull the glasses holder (1) downwards and disengage the metal clips (A).
16. Remove the screws, then remove the rope hooks (left/right).
17. Using a puller, remove the headliner clips from the body side at the rear of the headliner.
18. Remove the ceiling (1) through the rear door.
Attention:
- Work with a partner (one in front, one behind).
- Do not bend the ceiling when removing.
- Be careful not to scratch or damage body components when removing the headliner.
19. After removing the ceiling, remove the following components:
- luggage compartment light assembly;
- individual lighting lampshade assembly;
- ultrasonic sensor;
- microphone (on models with navigation system);
- roof wiring assembly.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Attention:
- Install the sun visor holder as a guide (left/right) and both ceiling clamps on the body side at the rear of the ceiling.
- Do not bend the ceiling during installation.
