Car Repair — Floor Finishing (Nissan X-Trail T31)

Removal and installation

Removal

1. Remove the front seats as a whole (left/right) and the rear seat cushion assembly. See the section below "Seats".

2. Remove the side trim of the engine compartment bulkhead (left and right), front door opening trim (left and right), lower trim of the central pillar (left and right) and the rear side door opening trim (left and right). See above.

3. Remove the center console assembly. See the section below "Dashboard".

4. Using the puller (A), unfasten the hooks of the floor covering (1).

5. Loosen the console bracket mounting nuts (A) and remove the left console bracket (1).

6. Remove the left footwell duct (2). See chapter "Heating and air conditioning ventilation system".

7. Remove the floor wiring clamp (A).

8. Loosen the console bracket mounting nuts (B) and remove the right console bracket (1).

9. Remove the screw (A), then remove the right footwell duct (1). See Chapter "Heating and air conditioning ventilation system".

10. Disconnect the drain hose (1) from the branch pipe.

11. Disconnect the connectors (A). Remove the floor wiring retaining clips (B).

12. Remove the manual transmission control lever assembly (on models with manual transmission). See chapter "Clutch and manual transmission".

13. Remove the CVT control mechanism assembly (on models with CVT). See chapter "Continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT)".

14. Remove the parking brake control mechanism assembly. See Chapter "Brake system".

15. Remove the diagnostic sensor block.

16. Remove the mounting bolts (A) from the gear selector cable bracket (1) (on models with manual transmission). See chapter "Clutch and manual transmission".
