Front wheel hub and steering knuckle
Checking the fastening elements
Make sure the condition of the fastening elements (play, clearance) all components and the state of the components (wear damage) comply with the norm.
Checking wheel bearings
- Move the wheel hub and bearing assembly axially by hand. Make sure there is no play in the wheel bearing.

Axial play. See paragraph below. "Technical data and specifications".
- Check the wheel hub and make sure there is no unusual noise or other abnormality. If there is, replace the wheel hub and wheel bearing.
Front drive shafts
Examination
- Check for play or other damage at the drive shaft mounting points and at the hinge.
- Check the covers for cracks or other damage.
Caution: If noise or vibration occurs from the drive shaft, replace the drive shaft assembly.
