Removal. 1. Front combination light.
Disassembly 1. Front turn signal light bulb; 2. Front turn signal light bulb socket; 3. Plastic cap; 4. Sealing packing; 5. Xenon bulb socket; 6. Xenon bulb; 7. Retaining spring; 8. Sealing packing; 9. High voltage control unit; 10. Parking light bulb socket; 11. Parking light bulb; 12. Headlight housing assembly.
Removal and installation
Removal
Caution: Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal or remove the power supply circuit fuse.
1. Remove the front bumper cornice. See chapter "Interior and exterior body equipment".
2. Remove the electrical wiring clamps (A).
3. Loosen the headlight mounting bolts and nuts and disengage the clamps.
4. Move the headlight assembly towards the front of the vehicle.
5. Before removing the headlight assembly, disconnect the connector.
Installation
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
Note: After installation, adjust the headlight aim. See above.
Replacing light bulbs
Attention:
- Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal or remove the power supply circuit fuse.
- After installing the bulb, securely fix the plastic cap and bulb socket to ensure waterproofness.
Headlight bulb
1. Remove the air duct to gain access*
* When replacing the left headlight bulb.
2. Turn the plastic cap counterclockwise to unlock it.
3. Disconnect the ground wiring from the bulb socket.
4. Turn the bulb holder counterclockwise to unlock it.
5. Release the locking spring. Remove the bulb from the headlight housing assembly.
Caution: When replacing the bulb, do not break the ceramic tube of the xenon bulb.
Parking light bulb
1. To gain access, remove the air duct*.
*When replacing the left headlight bulb.
2. Turn the bulb holder counterclockwise to unlock it.
3. Remove the light bulb from the socket.
Front turn signal light bulb
1. Turn the bulb holder counterclockwise to unlock it.
2. Remove the light bulb from the socket.
Disassembly and assembly
Disassembly
1. Turn the plastic cap counterclockwise to unlock it.
2. Disconnect the ground wiring from the bulb socket.
3. Turn the xenon bulb holder counterclockwise and unlock it.
4. Unlock the locking spring. Remove the xenon bulb.
5. Remove the mounting screw from the high voltage control unit.
6. Remove the screw. Disconnect the connector from the high-voltage control unit.
7. Remove the xenon bulb holder from the headlight housing assembly.
8. Turn the parking light bulb holder counterclockwise and unlock it.
9. Remove the parking light bulb from the socket.
10. Turn the front turn signal light bulb socket counterclockwise and unlock it.
11. Remove the front turn signal light bulb from the socket.
Assembly
Assembly is performed in the reverse order of disassembly.
Attention:
- Install the high voltage control unit securely.
- After installing the bulb, securely fix the plastic cap and bulb socket to ensure waterproofness.
