Starter Inhibitor/Reverse Light Switch — Removal and Installation (Nissan Bluebird T12)

1. Apply the handbrake, check that the ignition is off and select position 'N'.

2. Disconnect the switch wiring, unscrew the three switch mounting screws, then remove the switch. Plug the hole with a clean cloth.

3. When installing, place the switch on the transmission, lightly tighten the mounting screws, then use a metal rod to install the switch as described in Chapter 10 of this Section, and connect the wiring to the main sheath.

4. Wipe up any spilled fluid and top up the transmission, if necessary, as described in Chapter 3 of this Section.

5. Check that the switch is working properly.
