Examination
Oil leak
Check for oil leakage from and around the final drive assembly.
Oil level
Remove the plug (1) from the filler hole and check the oil level through the hole under the plug, as shown in the figure.

Attention:
- Do not start the engine while checking the oil level.
- Place a new gasket on the filler plug and screw the plug into the final drive assembly. See below.
- Do not reuse the gasket.
Drain
1. Turn off the engine.
2. Remove the plug (1) from the drain hole and drain the transmission oil.

3. Place a new gasket on the drain plug, screw the plug into the final drive assembly and tighten to the specified torque. See below.
Caution: Do not reuse the pad.
Refueling
1. Remove the plug (1) from the filler hole. Fill with fresh transmission oil until it reaches the specified level at the plug hole, as shown in the figure.

Oil grade and viscosity: See chapter "Maintenance".
Oil filling capacity: See below section "Technical data and specifications".
2. After filling, check the oil level. Put a new gasket on the filler plug and turn the plug into the main gear assembly. See below.
Caution: Do not reuse the pad.
