Adjusting the top hatch (Nissan Maxima A32)

1. Access to the sunroof electric drive motor is opened after removing the cover of the ceiling light/switch panel for controlling the operation of the sunroof electric drive.

2. Close the sunroof flush with the vehicle roof.

3. Unbolt the electric motor from the roof panel and disconnect the drive cables from it.

4. Without disconnecting the electrical wiring, turn on the motor, turning it to the end of its stroke, then turn it off.

5. Connect the two drive cables and install the electric motor in its regular place.

6. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of dismantling the components.
