- Lock the damper (bOSE audio system).
- Remove the center fan.
- Remove the left and right front panel pillar covers.
- Unscrew 2 screws (arrows) (rice NM.22.006).
- Remove the front panel cover and the audio system head unit by unscrewing two screws on each side (arrows).

- Release the elastic printed circuit board plug retainer (1) on the air conditioning and audio system switches side by pressing it (arrow).
- Disconnect the flexible printed circuit board from the plug.
- Remove the 4 screws (1) and 2 clamps (2). Then remove the audio system head unit from the front panel cover.
- Remove the 8 screws securing the audio system head unit, 2 screws securing the combined instrument panel and air conditioner amplifier, and remove the bracket.
- When working with the body of the audio system's head unit, do not touch the parts of the mechanism located in the cassette slot.
- Make sure that no foreign objects enter the cassette slot.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
- To secure each of the above components, use the appropriate screws, as the screws for securing the audio system's head unit are different from the screws for securing the amplifier.
