Removal
- Remove the windshield wiper arm.
- Remove the hinge cap.
- Remove the rear liftgate trim panel.
- Disconnect the rear wiper motor connector.
- Loosen the mounting bolts (arrows) of the rear window wiper motor and remove the motor (1).
- Install the hinge cap.
- Install the rear wiper motor onto the vehicle. Tighten the mounting bolts to a torque of 3.8-5.1 N·m.
- Connect the rear wiper motor electrical connector. To operate the electric motor, turn the rear window wiper on and then off (for automatic stopping).
- Install the rear liftgate trim panel.
- Install the wiper arm.
Caution: Do not drop the wiper motor or allow it to come into contact with other parts.

Rear wiper blade - removal and installation

Begin removing the brush by pulling it downwards.
Caution: If the force required to detach in the direction shown (see picture), less than 68.6 N (7.0 kg), the rear wiper blade and arm must be replaced. When replacing the rear wiper blade, blow it with compressed air to remove dust and dirt.
- Move the brush in the direction shown by the arrow.
- Turn the brush and press the fastening lever (1) away from the wiper arm.
- Move the brush in the direction shown by the arrow.
- To access the spring (1), move the brush in the direction shown by the arrow.
- Pull the end of the brush in the direction shown by the arrow.
- Remove the brush.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
