Removal
Removing the starter is not a difficult job and does not require much time.
- Remove the battery.
- Remove the air intake duct.
- Remove the battery bracket (arrow).

- Remove the tube for filling the variator with working fluid (3), disconnect the plug S (1) and unscrew the nut of contact B (4).

- Loosen the starter mounting bolts (2)

- Pull the starter forward until it can be lifted freely. If the starter is difficult to pull out, you may need to push back the engine components.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following notes.
- Tighten the contact nut B carefully to a torque of 9.8-1 1.8 N·m.
- Tighten the starter mounting bolts to 47-63 N·m.
