Checking the generator's operation in electric motor mode (Nissan Murano Z50)

• The generator is connected to the 12-volt battery circuit, and the current consumed by the generator is measured with an ammeter.
• The time for measuring the current consumed by the generator is 5 minutes.

Note: A properly functioning generator consumes current within 3.3-5 A.

• Sparking under the brushes should be barely noticeable.
