Generator mounting elements
1 - through bolt; 2 — cylinder block; 3 — camshaft drive chain housing; 4 — generator mounting nut; 5 - generator; 6 — generator plug; 7 — plug; 8 — terminal nut B; 9 — generator mounting bolt; 10 — generator bracket; 11 — generator bracket mounting bolt.
- Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
- Remove the lower engine cover.
- Remove the right lower engine cover.
- Remove the radiator.
- Slowly loosen the belts, then remove the power steering pump drive belt, then remove the alternator and air conditioning compressor drive belt.
- Remove the intermediate pulley (1).
- Unscrew the generator mounting nut (2) and the through bolt (3).

- Disconnect the generator plug (5)

- Unscrew the terminal nut B (6).
- Remove the ground wire harness clamp and unscrew the ground wire harness fastening nut (4).
- Unscrew the generator mounting bolt (9).

- Unscrew the generator bracket mounting bolt (8) and remove the bracket (7).
- Remove the generator upwards.

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following.
- Tighten terminal nut B thoroughly and correctly to a torque of 10.1 N·m.
- Tighten the generator mounting nut to 83.4 N·m and the generator bracket mounting bolts to 28.0 N·m.
- After installing the generator and drive belts, check and adjust their tension.
