Vacuum Booster Check Valve — Removal and Installation (Nissan Bluebird T12)

1. The one-way check valve is located in the vacuum hose that connects the booster unit to the intake manifold and is attached to the hanger on the front side of the booster unit. See photos 2.1 and 10.1.

2. Loosen the clamps securing the hose to each end of the valve and remove the hoses. Note the valve for proper installation. Loosen the clamp screw and remove the valve from the clamp.

3. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. The valve is installed with the end tapered to the manifold (Figure 9.8) and is fixed with three clamps.
