Removal
Attention:
- Before removing the sunroof motor, make sure the glass cover is completely closed.
- Once the sunroof motor has been removed, do not attempt to turn it separately from the cover.
1. Remove the ceiling. See the section above "Interior equipment".
2. Disconnect the connector (A) and terminal (B) from the sunroof motor assembly. Unscrew the TORX mounting bolts (From the sunroof motor assembly, then remove the sunroof motor assembly (1) and the sunroof motor cover (2).
Installation
Caution: Before installing the sunroof motor assembly, position the rods and cable assembly in a symmetrical and fully closed position.
1. Slowly move the motor sideways until the mechanism is fully engaged with the sunroof cable and the mounting surface is parallel. Then secure the motor with TORX bolts.
2. Install the ceiling. See the section above "Interior equipment".
