Note: Not all models are equipped with a sunroof.
The electric drive of the upper hatch cover operates when the ignition is on, and is controlled by a switch located in the upper console.
If you press and hold the rear edge of the switch in this position, the sunroof will lift and stop. Pressing the rear edge of the switch again will move the sunroof back.
To close the sunroof, press and hold the front edge of the switch. The sunroof will slide forward and stop in the raised position. Release and press the front edge of the switch again to completely close the sunroof.
When you open the sunroof, the sunblind opens automatically. However, you can close and open the sunblind manually.
If the electric drive of the hatch cover fails, proceed in the following sequence to open it.
1. Turn the ignition switch to the "OFF" position and carefully remove the overhead console cover. This will open access to the end of the shaft of the electric motor of the drive of the upper sunroof. Then insert a rod wrench into the socket in the end of the shaft and turn the shaft clockwise / counterclockwise to close / open the sunroof.
