Locking and unlocking the door locks with the remote control
For locking locks, remove the key from the ignition, close all doors and press the lock button on the remote control (see illustration Single lock control buttons on the remote control). The direction indicators will flash once, confirming that the locks are working correctly. If you press the indicated button again, the direction indicators will flash once again, reminding you. that the locks are already locked.
For unlocking locks, press the corresponding button on the remote control unit - the driver's door lock will unlock and the direction indicators will flash twice. Pressing the unlock button again within 5 seconds of unlocking the driver's door will unlock all doors. Direction indicators flash 2 or 3 times (respectively when using a remote control type A or B).
If within about 2 minutes after the full or partial unlocking of the locks, any door is not opened, or the key is not inserted into the ignition lock, the automatic blocking of the locks is activated.
Locking and unlocking doors with the system «Intelligent Key»
Note. Normal system operation «Intelligent Key» may be affected by external factors. In such cases, use the spare key, which is located inside the key fob.
Before locking doors, make sure the system key fob «Intelligent Key» not left in the car and press all doors. Press the lock switch in the handle of one of the doors. All doors will lock and the direction indicators will flash once.
For unlocking locks, press the corresponding button in the handle of one of the doors - only this door will be unlocked and the direction indicators will flash twice. Pressing the unlock button again within 5 seconds of unlocking one door will unlock all doors. Direction indicators flash 3 times (first once and then briefly twice).
Locking and unlocking the door locks with a discharged battery
In this situation, the driver's door can be unlocked and locked using the main or spare key.
Unlocking and locking the door with a key
For locking/unlocking carefully remove the cover from the handle of the driver's door, insert the key into the slot of the lock cylinder and turn the key in the desired direction.
Note. The lock is unlocked and locked in this way only when the door is closed.
If the car is equipped with an additional locking system, after charging or replacing the battery, the additional blocking must be removed. To do this, insert the key into the lock or ignition switch and turn it to the «ON». You can also unlock the front passenger door for this purpose using the key or remote control.
Locking doors with a single lock switch
Attention! When locking the doors with the single lock switch, do not leave the keys in the vehicle.
Single lock switch on the center console
The single lock switch, located on the center console, allows you to lock and unlock the locks of all car doors when the driver's door is closed. However, if the auxiliary locking system is active, this switch does not allow the door locks to be unlocked.
To lock all doors, move the single lock switch to the «LOCK» with the driver's door open, and then close it. In this case, the key should not be in the ignition lock, and the key fob «Intelligent Key» must be outside the vehicle. On models with a secondary locking system, the specified method of locking the locks will not activate the secondary locking.
If you are in a car, press the lock button on the key fob «Intelligent Key», all doors will lock and the single lock switch indicator will turn on. At the same time, it will be impossible to unlock the door locks using the single lock switch. To unlock the locks, press the corresponding button on the remote control.
If, with the driver's door open, lock the door locks using the single lock switch and at the same time the remote control «Intelligent Key» will be in the car, then when the driver's door is closed, the locks of all doors will be unlocked and the buzzer will turn on. This precaution is provided in order to prevent the locking of the door locks when the key fob is left in the passenger compartment «Intelligent Key».
Emergency situations on vehicles with an additional locking system
If the secondary lock is activated in an accident or for some other unexpected reason while the driver is inside the vehicle, perform the following steps.
Insert the key into the ignition switch and turn it to the «ON». In this case, additional blocking will be removed. Once the locks are unlocked, the doors can be opened from inside the vehicle.
Open a window or break the front passenger door glass. Remove the protective cover from the outside handle of the passenger door, insert the key into the slot of the lock and unlock it by turning the key. After that, you can open the door and get out of the car.
Remove the key from the ignition and unlock the doors using the remote control.
Additional blocking of the rear door lock
Rear door auxiliary lock switch
IN rear doors provided additional locking, designed to prevent children in the back seat from opening them. To prevent the rear door from being opened from the inside, move the lever in the lock (at the end of the door) into position «blocking» and close the door. Now it can only be opened from the outside. To open the door from the inside again, open it from the outside and return the lever to its original position.
Tailgate lock
A single lock locks and unlocks all doors, including the tailgate.
If the car is not locked, the tailgate can be unlocked manually from outside the car. To do this, use the microswitch located at the bottom of the tailgate.
The tailgate cannot be unlocked from the outside if the vehicle is locked with a single lock. In this case, when pressing the microswitch located, a warning sound signal is heard (Models with type A remote control - see illustration Single lock control buttons on the remote control).
