Transfer Case Oil — Oil Filling (Nissan X-Trail T31)

1. Unscrew the plug (1) from the filler hole and remove the gasket. Fill the oil to the specified level at the hole (A) under the plug.



Oil grade and viscosity. See above. Oil capacity: See chapter "Power transmission".

Caution: Pour oil slowly (approx 3 minutes).

2. Wait 3 minutes and check the oil level again.

3. Install a new gasket on the filler plug. Screw the plug into the transfer case and tighten to the specified torque.

Caution: Do not reuse the gasket.
