Draining the oil
Caution: When draining the oil, cover the exhaust pipe flange with a cap.
- To warm up the transfer case, take a short drive.
- Turn off the engine and remove the drain plug to drain the oil from the transfer case.
- Apply the recommended type of sealant to the drain plug. Screw the drain plug into the transfer case housing and tighten it to a torque of 9.8 - 19.6 N·m.
Oil filling
- Loosen the filler plug and pour in transmission oil until it reaches the bottom of the filler hole. The oil volume is approximately 0.31 l.
Caution: Pour oil slowly and carefully (the filling time should be approximately 3 minutes).
- Let the car sit for 3 minutes and check the oil level again through the oil filler hole as shown in the figure.

- Apply the recommended type of sealant to the filler hole plug. Screw the plug into the transfer case housing and tighten it to a torque of 9.8-19.6 N·m.
