Checking the neutral position of the steering wheel (Nissan Murano Z50)

After confirming that the wheel alignment angles are correct, check the steering wheel's neutral position.

• Set the front wheels in the straight-ahead position and check that the steering wheel is in neutral position.
• If the steering wheel is in a position other than neutral, remove the steering wheel and reposition it.
• If the steering wheel cannot be moved to a neutral position within two steering gear teeth, loosen the tie rod end locknuts on the tie rod ends and then move the tie rod ends an equal amount in the opposite direction.
