Removal and installation
Removal
1. Remove the drive belt. See above.
- After removing the drive belt, secure the tensioner pulley lever.
2. Remove the protective cover from the right front fender. See chapter "Interior and exterior body equipment".
3. Support the bottom of the engine with a telescopic strut and remove the strut and right engine mount insulator. See below.
4. Loosen the mounting bolt and remove the automatic drive belt tensioner.
- To remove the mounting bolt, lift the engine from the front with a jack and secure the engine base.

Note: Use a TORX head (size N50).
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Caution: When installing the automatic tensioner, be careful not to touch or damage the water pump pulley.
