Accelerator Pedal Release Position Learning (Nissan X-Trail T31)

The procedure is an operation to teach the ECM the released position of the accelerator pedal by monitoring the output signal of the accelerator pedal position sensor. It must be performed after each disconnection of the connector from the accelerator pedal position sensor or the ECM.

Procedure of execution

1. Make sure the accelerator pedal is fully released.

2. Turn the ignition key to the position and wait at least 2 seconds.

3. Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position and wait at least 10 seconds.

4. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position and wait at least 2 seconds.

5. Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position and wait at least 10 seconds.
