Idle switch and full accelerator pedal switch (Nissan Serena C24)

Examination

Check the resistance between contacts 2 and 3 of the switches.

• The accelerator pedal is fully released (contact idle ON): there is conductivity
• The accelerator pedal is fully depressed (contact idle OFF): no conductivity

Check the resistance between contacts 1 and 2 of the switches.

• The accelerator pedal is fully released (contact pressed position OFF): no conductivity
• The accelerator pedal is fully depressed (contact pressed position ON): there is conductivity

If faulty, replace the accelerator pedal assembly.
