Removal
1. Remove the lower trim panel in the driver's footwell.
2. Disconnect the cable from the pedal.
3. Loosen the bracket mounting bolts and remove the pedal from the bulkhead together with the bracket.
4. If necessary, disassemble the pedal, removing the cotter pin, axle and spring.
5. Check the condition of the parts, replace worn parts.
Installation
Installation is performed in reverse order. Lubricate the pedal axle with grease. When finished, check the cable adjustment.
