Models with single-point electronic fuel injection (Nissan Sunny B13)

The fuel system consists of a fuel tank mounted under the bottom at the rear of the vehicle, an electric fuel pump mounted in the fuel tank, a fuel filter, a fuel supply line and a return line, and a throttle body (in which one fuel injector is installed). Also, the power supply system includes an electronic control unit and its sensors, electrical components and connecting wires. The air filter is installed on top of the throttle body and has a replaceable paper filter element.

Warning! Many operations require removing or disconnecting fuel lines, which may result in fuel leakage. Gasoline is a highly hazardous and volatile liquid and requires special care when handling it.

Caution! Residual pressure remains in the fuel lines for a long time after the vehicle has been driven. Before disconnecting any fuel lines, release the pressure from the fuel system following the instructions in subsection 6.3.1.7.
