Removal
1. Loosen and remove the bolt and disconnect the air inlet tube from the side of the air cleaner housing.
2. Loosen the air filter cover mounting nuts, then release the mounting clips and remove the cover.
3. Remove the filter element.
4. Remove the washers and rubber bands from the air cleaner housing bolts, then remove the mounting frame and seal.
5. Loosen and remove the remaining air cleaner housing mounting bolts and remove the housing from the engine compartment.
6. Disconnect all vacuum and air hoses from the air cleaner housing, noting or marking their installation positions.
7. Then, you can remove the intake pipe and resonator after all their mounting bolts have been unscrewed. If necessary, the intake pipe can be disconnected from the resonator.
8. Inspect the mounting bushings and seals for damage or wear and replace if necessary.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Check that all air ducts and hoses are correctly connected and are not pinched when installing the air cleaner housing.
