For all Nissan Sunny models, it is recommended to use gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 95 (by research method). All models with a catalytic converter must use only gasoline that does not contain tetraethyl lead. Do not use gasoline containing tetraethyl lead, as this may damage the catalytic converter. Models without a catalytic converter can use both types of fuel.
